"Pills" I Have Known

The field of pharmacy is a very rewarding and interesting profession. It has allowed me the privilege of meeting new people every day. I also had my regular patients so that helped build a trust and security for them. Both new and existing patients knew that we worked to keep vigilant records on their medications to ensure their safety. They always knew that we were only a phone call away if there were ever any questions on what to do or how to take their medications. And believe me when I tell you they made good use of that fact. This book is a snap shot of a few of the funnier things they have said and asked throughout my thirty years in retail pharmacy. Some days their honest to goodness misunderstandings had us all in stitches. Of course they never knew or heard us as that would be beyond rude and insensitive. Most elderly had true misunderstandings and you can only smile and guide them into the correct usage. But with all the good, bad, and crazy days I would not change a day of it even if I could reverse time. Read more
